GME makes available participants a service for the disclosure of inside information, by providing a platform for the publication of such information, through which participants can comply with the obligations imposed on them by REMIT regarding timely publication and effective use of inside information (Article 4).
Such service not only simplifies the fulfilment of the obligation of the participants to publish inside information, but also is a practical transparency tool facilitating the monitoring of insider trading events by the competente bodies.
Through this platform, GME makes available to participants the following services:
- Publication of inside information;
- Dissemination of inside information through web feeds;
- Storage of inside information published and possibility to download.
Access to the above-mentioned platform is open to all participants of the markets/platforms of GME, as well as to all participants active in other regulated wholesale energy markets and balance markets, in order to promote the widest possible participation and ensure efficient centralization of information.
The above services, as well as the enrollment on the PIP, are offered by GME free of charge.
