monitoring - remit - PDR - how to operate

PDR platform

The data reporting platform of GME is aimed at allowing participant to meet their reporting obligations towards ACER through the use of a web portal and via a web service.
Both PDR interfaces (web and web services) require the use of an authentication method in two levels and a naming convention for loading the external data. The PDR is available to participants in continuous mode, i.e., all around the clock, 365 days a year, except for maintenance of the system for which GME will give timely notice.
More technical/operating information on the platform is available in the User PDR Manual and in the Implementation Guide.

PDR test platform

The dedicated test platform is accessible at https://provepdr.ipex.it.

The tests are open to all operators of the market/energy platforms managed by GME that fall within the scope of the data reporting obligation under the REMIT Regulation and that are interested in participating in such tests.

The test phase will be through a "similar production" process, as detailed below.

With reference to the registration to the test phase:

  • the Market Participant interested in participating in the test will have to fill in the appropriate form, which is available online on the PDR test platform, and without sending any contract nor other documents in hard copy;
  • GME will send the relevant credentials to access the platform (valid only for the test phase) via email, to the addressee specified by the Market Participant in the form referred to the section above.
After receiving the credentials to access, the Market Participant may:
  • with reference to the Data Reporting of external data (the so-called "upload"), upload his/her/its data, which will then be transmitted to the test site of ACER;

  • with reference to the Data Reporting of GME data and to the Download service, pursuant to what is indicated in the form of the test platform:

    • monitor the delivery of reports to ACER;
    • download the required data.
The data in the PDR test version will be sent to the ACER testing system, referring to data that are already public for the PBGas  and MPE market.

For MTE and MGas markets, GME will organize test sessions on the corresponding test platforms and the Market Participants will be entitled to submit their deals and see the effects on the reporting.

For information about tests sessions, you can write an e-mail to
provePDR@mercatoelettrico.org.

More information about the testing period and, in general, all information of technical/operational nature will be communicated to the Market Participants through a notice published on the homepage of the test platform.

It’s understood that the subjects involved in the tests acknowledge and agree that GME is not (and will not be) liable (i) for any complications or issues arising from (or relating to) test activities, and/or (ii) for any possible difference between the test activities and the service that GME offers on the PDR.
