GME determines the extent of fees that MLF Market Participants shall pay for the services provided, pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 7.3 of the MLF Regulations.

As stated in ARERA’s resolution 372/2023/R/eel, the fees are annually defined by GME, approved by ARERA, and published on GME’s website. They have immediate effect upon their first application; subsequently, they apply from 1 January of the following year.

Extent of fees

The fees mentioned in Article 7, paragraph 7.1 of the MLF Regulations are as follows:

• a one-off access fee of Euro 0.00;
• a fixed annual fee of Euro 0.00;
• a variable fee of Euro 0.04/MW for each hour h (Euro 0.01/MW for each quarter of an hour) defined in relation to the capacity traded on the MLT-Flex;
• a variable fee of Euro 0.04/MW for each hour h (Euro 0.01/MW for each quarter of an hour) defined in relation to transactions of purchase and sale of energy subject to delivery on the MLP-Flex and attributed by GME.
