The PB-GAS is operated by:
• the users referred to in Article 2, paragraph 2.2 mm) of the PB-GAS Rules;
• the balancing users referred to in Article 2, paragraph 2.2 nn) of the PB-GAS Rules.
To be admitted to the PB-GAS, authorised users must have adequate
experience and competence in the use of ICT systems and related security systems,
or have employees or assistants with such experience and competence.
The applicant must:
1. submit a
participation application (Domanda di
ammissione) in the format enclosed to the
PB-GAS Regulations; if the applicant
is an organisation, the application must be accompanied by: i. a declaration (under
Decree of the President of the Republic no. 445 of 28 Dec. 2000) certifying the
powers of representation of the signer of the application or other documents based
on which GME will carry out a substantial equivalence evaluation; and ii. a copy
of a personal identity document of the signer of the application;
2. submit a
participation agreement (Contratto di
adesione) in the format enclosed to the
PB-GAS Regulations, initialled on each
page by the legal representative (if the applicant is an organisation); in the agreement,
the contracting party must declare that he/she/it has understood the
PB-GAS Regulations and that he/she/it
accepts to be bound thereby without any condition or reservation.
Upon admission, the applicant acquires the status of
PB-GAS participant. Participants
are entered into a
List of PB-GAS Participants, created
and held by GME in compliance with personal data privacy legislation.
PB-GAS participants are required to pay the applicable fees. The obligation to pay
the
fees ceases only if the PB-GAS
participant files a formal request of exclusion from the PB-GAS with GME.
