REMIT publication of inside information: platform available from 04/01/2016 |
GME let the Market Participants know that the Platform for the publication of Inside Information (PIP) will be active from 10 AM on January 4, 2016 at https://pip.ipex.it .
Through this platform, GME makes available a service for the collection and publication of inside centralized and transparent information, thus allowing the Market Participants of wholesale electricity and gas markets to rely on an additional instrument to fulfill the disclosure obligations imposed by Art. 4 of REMIT.
This service is offered entirely free of charge.
Procedures for access to PIP are available at http://www.mercatoelettrico.org/It/Monitoraggio/ComeParteciparePIP.aspx .
The Market Participants who have already completed all the steps required for registration and are thus regularly admitted to the service can use the PIP by the login credentials to the production platform transmitted by GME during last months.
It should be noted that access to the public section of the PIP and the ability to download the messages contained therein, is open to all interested parties without the need for any registration process.
Finally, it should be noted that the test platform, operational since 15/12/2015, will be available at https://provepip.ipex.it to enable the Market Participants who may wish to carry out tests of publication.
